One of the first things I noticed when we moved into our new house was this Mezuzah in the doorway of my bedroom.
I had to go online and research all about it. I thought some of you might be interested in what I found. I'd like to hear your comments about the true interpretation of these verses in Deuteronomy. Are these supposed to be taken literally, or is this going too far? I'm on the side of going too far; but I will leave it there anyway. Just don't expect me to be rubbing it for good luck on my way out the door!

Well Pam I do enjoy reading your blog and have checked back almost daily. Regarding the mezuzah from what I understand it is like a protection thingy. Well Gods protection is everywhere for the saved. I do believe that it is a good thing to have visual cues to remind us of Gods protection. If there is anything you need let me know. How do you get mail? APO/FPO? or is it just overseas postage?
