We had a busy weekend, but it was very good. Since Saturday is Shabbat (Sabbath) here, pretty much everything is closed. This makes it very difficult for shopping and getting errands done since we only have Sat & Sun to do these things. But, we took advantage of this time off and just spent a nice day at home together. After dinner I asked my husband if he would help me move some furniture around in our living room. Everything was still how it had been when the government workers filled our house with furniture. Keep in mind that we have 4 stories to our house, with 8 flights of stairs, and our government furniture is all solid wood! We tried to get some large items through a narrow doorway into a back room, but we couldn't quite squeeze them in. What is it in a person that says "I can fit that square peg in that round hole."? In the end we had carried bookcases and recliners up and down flights of stairs, moved couches and tables, and went to bed 3 hours later full of sore muscles! My husband was a trooper through it all and let me use his strong back without (much) complaining. But, our living room looks much larger now that it isn't crammed full of all that furniture. My dilemma now is to find decorations to fill in the empty places it left. I don't know of any places out here to buy decorations. Does anyone know of some websites with inexpensive decorating ideas, or cheap things to buy?
Sunday was another great day at church. Since we just joined the church, they wanted to have the Lord's Supper in the evening service, which was extraordinary. Our pastor, who is at least 70 years old, spent 2 hours Sun. afternoon hand making the unleavened bread (which tasted wonderful!), and squeezed the grape juice from fresh grapes with his own hands. Besides spending time thinking of what our Lord sacrificed for us, I also had the blessing of thinking about how our Pastor had labored for us. God has definitely blessed us by allowing us to be in this church.

Do you have an FPO address there, or is it a foreign address? Try Home Goods and Domestications.com
That is really special that your preacher hand made the juice and bread! :)
Also, Pam, could you email me at ketlawhon@yahoo.com sometime? I have something I'd like to ask you.
You can try Ikea.com or overstock.com. They both have great prices and some really good stuff.
