Today was a much more calm day. This time we knew exactly where we were going, so we had no trouble getting to the appointment on time. God had a plan in not letting our appointment work out the first time. Yesterday, we got all of the payment portion taken care of, so today all we had to do was walk right in to our appointment. Today the hospital was very busy and it would have been much harder for us to get the payment portion taken care of in time today. Anyway, I'm sure you want to know how everything went.
We saw the professor and he listened to our story and looked at my son's hand. He didn't think it looked like skin cancer at all! Praise the Lord!! He thinks it is probably just a mole that is growing with him. He said that we can do a small biopsy, but that we should wait a little bit until my son is older and will cooperate for the local anesthetic. He didn't seem to think there was any rush on this though, and I think he offered it more for our own peace of mind. Of course, we'll still keep an eye on it; but I don't think there's any reason to worry.
So, the Lord worked everything out --- just like I knew He would. I am very thankful that He chose to keep my son free from any diseases instead of making him go through something traumatic. Thank you to everyone who prayed for us!
