Thank YOU for a Blessed 4th of July!!

You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl ;) I am proud to be an American... even if I haven't lived there for almost 5 years.
We were so blessed today to be able to celebrate the anniversary of our nation's independence in such a fun way. Inside our heavily guarded and enclosed Consulate we had so many things provided for us. A bouncy castle, face painting, a balloon artist (who was really amazing!), cotton candy, barbecue, etc. We all had SO MUCH fun, and the Lord provided a lovely day without too much heat and with the occasional soft breeze. In my post title I said thank YOU... because if you're an American then your tax dollars (and mine) went to pay for this little celebration. With all the frivolous government spending going on out there, it's nice to be the recipient of some of it :) So thank you for providing the means for us to have such a lovely day!
I hope your celebration on this 4th of July was filled with laughter, and thankfulness to God who has given it all to us.
