This past Sunday the kids performed in a little skit that Penny wrote. The point was to get across the idea that just because you look like a Christian, and say you're a Christian doesn't make you one. She used the kids to show an example of this. They dressed in different masks and came out to Penny saying they were that particular animal. Penny would ask them why they thought they were that animal and they were supposed to say: "Because I look like a ________, and I sound like a _________." My daughter did a great job as a horse....

Sunday's Skit
I'm sorry that my posting has been sporadic. For some reason posting to this blog has started to feel like a chore.... ugh! I'm sure I'll snap out of it eventually.

My son, on the other hand, got a little bit mixed up. He came out looking like a monkey and when Penny asked her question he answered, "Because I look like a monkey, and I smell like a monkey." My husband and I lost it.... it was too funny.
(Thanks, Penny, for the pictures!)
