Fighting (from June 13th)

The past two days have been uneventful -- those are the days. The past two nights however have been a different story. We've had our window open at night to hear the wind, but instead are hearing a lot of gun fire. You only have to read the news the next day to figure out what's probably going on. We are very safe where we are though. There are rules in place that keep us from going to many places, and there are security systems inside all of the houses. Plus, most of the fighting that goes on here is in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, not in the city, where we are. I know the Lord wants us to be here, so I'm not worried about my own safety. But there's something a little unsettling about being around so much unrest.
