Moving Day!

Today we moved into our new house! It's very nice and big and we're enjoying having a home again. The kids are loving it too because there are so many places to play and explore. There are 4 stories to this home, so we're pretty spread out. But after Okinawa, we're enjoying the space. Heather, our kitchen is the size of your living room -- not that I'm rubbing that in! :) I spent most of the day cleaning. There's something about the thought of other people's dirt that makes my skin crawl. Some of you that have known me for a while will understand my "quirks" about my kitchen. I spent about 2 hours and 2 scrubber sponges on my kitchen sink, getting it up to my standards. Okay, tell me, am I the only one who takes apart their faucet to clean the inside parts? Maybe I have a problem. That's done now, so I'll move on to the other parts of the house tomorrow.

The kids and I stepped out on our balcony this evening to see this beautiful sunset.

We have a good view of the city; but not the old city. It will still be nice to look out on this every day.
