What Do You See?

Yesterday I mentioned how we had a water cooler installed in our house. This was the box that the cooler came in. To you it may just look like an empty, beat-up box. But when my kids saw this box today they saw something else entirely. Today this box has been a tunnel, a game where one child crawls inside while the other puts crayons into various holes for the first child to catch, a rabbit hole for the hunter to chase the rabbit into, a pirate ship, a post office--complete with mail slot, an elevator, an amusement park ride......and it's not even dinner time yet. Don't you just love a child's imagination?

Who needs toys, I think every child just needs a few boxes in their lives :)

I'm so glad your kids are creative. And that they have each other. It would be hard being an only child there.
