More Sewing

My daughter has definitely caught the sewing bug. I hope you're not getting too bored of seeing what she's made. I'm sure I'll get over the thrill of her new skill soon enough.
Yesterday she made a skirt for her doll....
Today she made a quilt block into a pillow. Along with the fabric that her Nana Hope sent her were several quilt pieces that I'm assuming she had leftover from a project of her own. You can see what she started with on the right. She laid pieces out that she thought would look good with it, and then sewed it all together and came up with this cute pillow....
Hobbies are so much more fun when you have someone to do them with. I can see that we'll be having lots of fun together!

It looks like your daughter has an eye for design! She has done some good work this week. I'm always amazed at what kids can do if we give them half a chance.
