I Won!!

My son finally finished his food; down to the last pea. The transformation is 'amazing'.... yesterday, 4 peas made him say, "I can't swallow it!" Yet today he polished off a large bowl of taco rice, beans, a cinnamon roll, & chips in about 30 minutes, without any difficulty. I have a strange feeling that we'll be fighting this battle again in the future.... but for today I'm just enjoying the peace.

What a relief!!!

Has he talked about why he would not eat? Maybe now that the battle has been won, he might be able to give you some insight into it...whether he was being stubborn/rebellious, or whatever. I have found that talking to the boys about a situation either before it arises or after it has concluded (sometimes both) seems to be the best way to reinforce how to make a better decision next time.

AMEN...your determination won! It is the battle of the wills...just as in the life of the lost and sadly some Christians.

What a great testimony of patience, and doing right!

Oh Pam hun I am so glad things turned out better with your little man. I have had my share of the battle of the wills with food. It is very hard and you so want to give in some times but staying strong is so more rewarding in the end to molding good Godly obedient children.
Love you my dear and yes my computer is up and running again and even posted.
