My Dad

I received a call from my Dad this Tuesday afternoon. He is supposed to be coming for a visit two weeks from now, but these plans might change. Yesterday he spent several hours in the hospital for a DVT, deep vein thrombosis... a blood clot in his leg. He has had a blood clot in the past, about 3 years ago, so he knew the symptoms right away and was able to get into the doctor in enough time to get on the proper medications. Blood clots are very, very serious and can take a life suddenly. Long flights can make this worse and he has a LOT of flying coming in his near future. Not to mention the medications he's on and the follow-ups with the doctor he's supposed to have. I want my Dad to visit, but it's not worth his life. Please pray, not only for his health, but also that he will make the right decision regarding this trip.
