I got the call from my Dad today after he had a follow-up with his doctor. Sadly, his trip will have to be canceled. We know that God has a plan for everything, and even though we don't understand, we trust God enough to know that it is for the best. Of course, it's hard not to be a little sad, especially so close to the time he was supposed to come. But I have a comforting peace, knowing that my heavenly father is in control.
As far as my Dad's health, there's not much change with his blood clot. He's on the appropriate medications, but the doctors have told him that it could take up to 6 months to be completely broken up. If the Lord puts it on your heart, we would appreciate prayer for him. And thank you for all of the prayers thus far.

Perhaps he'll make it to your next home and stay LONGER!!!

I sure will pray! The waiting must be very difficult, so I'll pray for peace too.
We're praying! God is so good to show us all this before he took the trip! Maybe he can still make it before it gets too cold.
