Early Birthday Surprises!

My birthday is coming up next week, but I was so surprised today when my husband brought home two huge packages from my good friend Hope. She is always so thoughtful, and always makes me feel special. She had all of the gifts decorated with cute buttons as a sort of theme throughout, and even had gifts inside for my husband and children as well. The first box I opened was just from her; with lots of thoughtful gifts of things she knew I would just love. My favorite was a framed picture of herself! We haven't seen each other in over 4 years, so a picture is worth so much to me. I opened the second box and was very touched to see that several ladies at our "home" church put this box together for me. My friend Missy even gave me a bunch of fabric that was just beautiful! I'm looking for just the right pattern to go with it.
God is so good to me, to give me such wonderful Christian friends. They are truly like family to me. And the amazing part.....I only lived there for a little over a year! But when God is in it; it doesn't take long to form lasting friendships.
